Youth Advocacy Group

NREC will be collaborating with Ngarrindjeri Youth Workers to have a voice in developing a youth engagement strategy.  NREC and Stakeholders will jointly develop an engagement plan and establish a youth steering committee. The engagement plan will be structured to address the needs of our youth, by our youth and for our youth. We will listen to our youth to enhance and develop strategies and initiatives to create a sense of community and youth ownership. We will strive to provide the opportunity for the voice of our youth to be heard.

NREC acts as a neutral convenor and works with regions, government, corporates, and other key stakeholders to implement the region’s strategic vision and goals through a well-designed and all-encompassing Joint Decision Making (JDM) framework.
