Our Regions

Screen Shot 2020-12-08 at 11_03_53 am_pn.webp

The traditional lands of the Ngarrindjeri People extend from the south-east of Adelaide; from Mannum and through Murray Bridge and Victor Harbor. Extending down the coast through Goolwa and Cape Jervis, including Lake Albert and Lake Alexandrina.

These regions have an extremely strong connection to the waters that surround and run through it, and the Ngarrindjeri people embody this connection and work to protect them and their lands to this day and will continue to do so in the future.

NREC acts as a neutral convenor and works with regions, government, corporates, and other key stakeholders to implement the region’s strategic vision and goals through a well-designed and all-encompassing Joint Decision Making (JDM) framework.
